Interlaken!! June - part 2 (finally something in English for the others)

So, I haven't written in a long while, and especially not in English either. So here it is. This was a trip to Interlaken, which I made with some of the core group of friends I have hung out with throughout the year. Sarah was celebrating her birthday and decided she wanted to go camping in Interlaken. It was awesome! First great news when we got to the campsite was that it was pretty much empty so we had a nice huge lot. But there were also quite a few regulars, and they were all there to party. On the day we arrived, there was a huge celebration for the camping ground's new toilet facilities! And what better way to party a new toilet than with free food for all! I'm not kidding, we had like six plates and lots of laughs with bands and traditional Swiss music - yodeling!
On one of the days we climb up to have a closer view of the glaciers near Interlaken.
That's our power eating break at the 'bar' at the top, which was closed. Luckily we brought our own food.
Mannschaft Extreme!
Watch out Linda!
Jeremy discovered the function of multiple shots on his camera. So we took this one, and moved around for about five different poses in five seconds.
Here's another.
Going back down after seeing the glacier.
The Glacier.
The lake in Interlaken. (Inter - between Laken - lakes = there are two lakes, the Thun and something else. Not sure which one anymore.)

another Glacier shot.

Beautiful mountain.
Me and the mountains.
Me and the sign.

The water at dusk.
A swan on the water at dusk.
This was part of the free food event. We could make our own pizzas! Mmmm.
Wow

Sophisticated, with drinking cups taped to our hands.
Another one of those multiple snaps moments with Jeremy's camera.
Sunset on the mountains behind our camping ground.
Sarah and I on the docks at sunset.
Sarah, Jeremy and I.

Sarah's birthday shindig in Feierling Brauerei the day before we left for camping.
There were a bunch of people hang gliding and para-gliding in the sky. The picture might be too small to see it here though.
Mmmm... Free food!
The band.
Funny man with all jeans attire. Sarah loved this man!

Interlaken was an amazing time. Sarah totally picked the right place. On our last day there, there was also a water sport equipment exhibit, and people could try out the equipment. There were so many people there. We did test anything out, but we met a bunch of people, and ended up playing about 4 hours of beach volleyball with them! It was great! Then swimming. Then dinner and schlafen (sleeping) for an early leave the next morning.
